All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Cookies are small text files that remember your browsing preferences and save it on your computer. As long as you do not enter personal information on the visited website, the cookie cannot contain this information.

There are two types of cookies. The technically necessary cookies and unnecessary cookies. The necessary cookies are necessary because they, for example, make sure that your products are kept in your shopping cart when browsing. The unnecessary cookies are the so-called non-essential 'tracking cookies': these are generally provided by third parties on the website and are therefore also called 'third party cookies'. These cookies remember the websites you've visited, monitor for measurement purposes, or make an estimate of your interests. Cookies can remember only preferences and interests based on browsing behavior; for example cookies may prevent you from seeing the same ad twice.

How does it work:
An advertiser (the third party) puts unnecessary cookies on the pc of the internet user (you). When you go to another website, this website recognises your cookies and shows you a personalized ad. In addition, it is possible that these cookies track your surfing habits, so a profile of you can be created.

Cookie law:
A user of a website must be clearly and fully informed about the use of cookies. No permission is needed for the so-called "necessary cookies" such as shopping baskets and cookies for remembering login information.

If you disable all cookies, you cannot always make use of all the possibilities of this website. It may therefore happen that you experience a disappointing use of the site or that you often see certain ads.

How do I prevent targeted ads on me:
The cookies placed by advertisers to track your browsing behavior can be turned off via 'Your Online Choices' initiative was started by the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB). On this website you can enter your preferences, per ad network (or all).

Please note that disabling cookies only raises implications for the computer and browser you perform this operation on. If you use multiple computers and / or browsers, you must repeat this operation as many times as necessary. Please refer to the help function of your browser.
